ROA-PROSOYA VISIT TO LUNZA PRIMARY SCHOOL
Transcriptions:
Mr. Bernard Imbayi(4k and Agriculture teacher)
We’re thankful for the work you have done. You have really helped us. And now people are asking how we connect ourselves to you people. We have told them we do it by planting, being open and sincere to the community, then everybody will be ok.
Prof:
You have told us that you grow soya. Dr. Kaburu is here, and he will tell us if you are doing the right thing. We are also learning.
I get left over materials, and I pay someone who is vulnerable to make these (small bags to hold pens, pencils etc), then I bring them to the schools, so that children can have a little bag. There are about 100 here. You’ll see who to give. If you are short, just let me know.
Then, whenever I visit primary schools, I like to carry biscuits for the children. As a mama, you must carry things. Our friends brought this good product which they prepare that you have to test. I can eat it every day. You have to test, it is very good. Here are the presents. Everyone will get one. It is soya porridge.
I also collect rags (disposed clothes), and give them to needy mamas Ksh.10 to make masks.
